Launch of Building Buddhism’s Online Survey

I’m pleased to announce that today we launched the online survey for Building Buddhism in England!  We are excited to use a survey as it will allow us to include a larger number of communities and buildings in the time that we have for the project and it will complement our fieldwork visits and interviews.

The survey is for Buddhist groups in England, and is intended to be completed in relation to one of their buildings (some groups have more than one building) – although the same group could complete the survey multiple times, if they would like to! It’s not necessary for the most senior person in a community to be the person who completes the survey, but they should have some knowledge of the history of their building and its current use.

The survey will be online between now and September, and is available at: https://www.survey.leeds.ac.uk/buildingbuddhism_england

Please spread the word, and allow us to get a really good picture of Buddhist buildings in England.
