Who We Are

Dr Emma Tomalin is the Principal Investigator on this project, and is also a Senior Lecturer in Religious Studies at the University of Leeds School of Philosophy, Religion and History of Science. She has published widely on religion and development, particularly in relation to the intersections between gender, religion and development. She is also Director of the Centre for Religion and Public Life at the University of Leeds.

Dr Caroline Starkey is the Research Assistant on this project. She recently completed a PhD focusing on ordained Buddhist women in the British context, their lives and experiences. Caroline also uses twitter: @caro_starkey
